My Book List

I love reading books. It is one of my favorite past time aside from well shopping. For me Kinokuniya Bookstore in Dubai Mall is paradise uhum aside from Forever 21 (my own holy place).

Since I've got more free time now, I get to enjoy the books that I've bought last month to ease my stress and tension with all that's happening with work.

See my current book list below and pleases hare with me your own list so that I can check it out and add it in my list too.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I first read about this book from Mommy Fleur's  blog and I got curious. I am done reading this and honestly it gave me a good cry (just when I needed and I felt so overwhlemed with all the things that I need to do). I mean c'mon you don't take cancer as laughing matter but Augustus and Hazel made me smile. I jsut fell in love with Augustus and cried so hard when he died (ooopps spoiler alert). And Hazel, I admire her for her courage to follow her dream to meet Peter van Houten (like the chocolates) the author of her favorite book.

I recommend this book to anyone because I know you'll definitely enjoy reading it.

Quote from the book:

My next on the list is Dan Brown's Inferno. Been following the life of Robert Langdon and this is a great addition to my Dan Brown books. Even before the "the gates of hell" issue I was really waiting for the release of Brown's new book.

Inferno by Dan Brown

I am currently reading it and all I can say is that the suspense is killing me. I love how Brown can make my heart beat furiously because of nervousness and how I cannot sleep just thinking of what will happen. I know that some people will not agree with me that this is great book but for me it is perfect.

Quote from the book:

I also bought the much talked about Beautiful Disaster. I am kind'a excited to read this as this novel maybe because I would really want to know Travis though this book focuses on how Abby sees their story. And i find this less hyped compared to the Fifty Shades trilogy which I didn't read at all.

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

My friends always told me that I get easily attracted with men with bad boy image so this book is so right for me. According to some reviews, this book will make you giddy, fall in love and cry. Which for me is a good formula if you want to sell your book to hopeless romantic people like me.

If this book will be put into movie, I would love to see Channing Tatum to star as Travis and Amanda Seyfried as Abby (sorta kinda reunion movie).

Quote from the book:

I guess it's just right to also purchase the follow up book to Beautiful Disaster which is Walking Disaster. With this book, we can see the story through Travis. It is also proper that you first read Beautiful Disaster before reading this to fully understand their story and where the characters are coming from.

Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire

I am just so excited to read this but.....this can wait as I need to finish Inferno first before drowning into Travis' magic.

Quote from the book:

And I am currently looking for this trilogy novel:

It is currently not available here in Dubai and I am so dying to get these books in my hand.

How about you guys, what are you currently reading?

  8. I'm taking a note on your list. It was a long time that I have read books. The last book that I read was Harry Potter. I forgot what part. I'm addicted to reading this book.

Now, I'm planning to read Midnight in the Sun by Stephanie Meyers. Though it wasn't finished I wanted to read Edward's POV.

  12. There are so many new books I want to read, but I still have books in my Kindle demanding my attention. Haha! Sometimes new books turn me off when they're in the theme of Fifty Shades. The BDSM thing just makes me feel nauseous.

  14. My teens are so into John Greene. If you are into young adult and feel-happy books, members of our kindelirium book club over at FB loved Stephanie Perkins' "Anna and the French Kiss" and "Lola and the Boy Next Door"

  15. I've read that John Green book. I like it a lot. I wanted to read more of his other books but I do not have the time. On my reading list is that JKRowling book where she used another name as author and the new Khaleed Hosseini book. I wish I have time to read them.
